THE TRUTH ABOUT LIBYA?

Much of what you have read in the mainstream media about Libya is untrue.

A visitor to Libya may notice that the Libyans are generally well fed and friendly, unlike some of the folks in Morocco or Algeria.

1. In 1984, a policewoman called Yvonne Fletcher was on duty outside the Libyan Embassy (People's Bureau) in London.

She was shot dead.

Reportedly she was assassinated on the orders of the CIA as part of a 'Psyop' designed to create British hatred of Libya.

Two years later when the US used British air bases to launch a bombing attack on Libyan civilians, 'only a handful of British voices were raised in protest.'

Examination of the scientific evidence showed that the shot which killed Yvonne Fletcher could not have been fired from the Libyan Embassy, but only from Enserch House a few doors away.

This building had links to the CIA.

2. Gadaffi's group came to power in Libya in 1969.

Gaddafi closed the American and British bases and partially nationalized foreign oil and commercial interests in Libya.

Gaddafi does not like Israel, which is why most of the mainstream media tells lies about him.

He has used Libya's oil wealth to create an extensive social welfare system.

Libya's literacy rate is the highest in North Africa

During the Italian colonial period, "between 20% and 50% of the Libyan population died in the struggle for independence, and mainly in prison camps." (Libya - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Before Gaddafi's group came to power, UN statistics showed that the Libyan people were the world's poorest.


3. Gaddafi is an enigma. He is no saint.

It is as if there were two Gaddafis.

Reportedly, in 1977, Gaddafi became a CIA asset.

"CIA agent Edwin P. Wilson recruited Gadaffi in 1977, and the CIA shipped Libya over 2000 pounds of explosives," says former CIA agent Lester Coleman.

Gaddafi reportedly helped the Abu Nidal faction.

Abu Nidal reportedly worked for the CIA and MOSSAD

Gaddafi reportedly provided support to militias in Northern Ireland.

Reportedly Martin McGuinness worked for MI6

And the murder gangs were 'run by British military intelligence'.


4. Elements of the CIA and MI6 may have been happy with Gaddafi.

But apparently Mossad wanted to create a split between Libya and the USA-UK

In 1981, in the Gulf of Sidra, an area claimed as territorial waters by Libya, two Libyan planes were shot down by US navy jets.

Five years later, in the Gulf of Sidra, US naval forces sank two Libyan patrol boats and bombed a Libyan missile base.

In April 1986, a bomb exploded in the La Belle discotheque in West Berlin, killing three people including two US military personnel.

Mossad tried to frame Libya.

Reportedly, the La Belle Disco bombing was the work of people working for Mossad, and the CIA.

Mossad broadcast false-flag messages from a location in Libya (termed Operation Trojan Horse) in order to unfairly blame Libya for the La Belle terror attack.

Ronald Reagan bombed Tripoli and Benghazi.

One of the targets was Gaddafi’s residential compound.

Gaddafi escaped but his adopted 15-month-old daughter was killed.



5. Libya was blamed for the Lockerbie bombing

Many people believe that Libya handed over Megrahi in order to escape from crippling sanctions.

In 2003, Gaddafi announced Libya was scrapping its programme to build weapons of mass destruction.

A subsequent UN inspection team found no evidence Libya was working on nuclear arms.

In 2009, Gaddafi shook hands with Barack Obama, at a multinational summit in Italy.



According to a 28 January 2007 article by Neil Mackay in the Sunday Herald, "How Britain created Ulster's murder gangs":

British military intelligency created murder gangs (death squads) in Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom.

Reportedly, military intelligence removed the police and army from the areas in which the gangs were operating, to allow the gangs to carry out their murders and escape.

According to the Herald, an agent called JB claims he carried out around 50 operations approved by the Military Reconnaissance Force (MRF), the British army unit which ran agents in Northern Ireland.

According to the Herald, JB claims military intelligence instructed 'loyalists' to plant explosives; reportedly, one result was the bomb in McGurk's Bar in Belfast in 1971; this killed 15 men, women and children.

Reportedly, the day before Bloody Sunday, JB was at a training session at Palace Barracks, where he was told by a major: 'We are hoping to provoke a confrontation with the IRA in Derry...'

JB referred to a number of atrocities sponsored by the British army's MRF. These included:

1. the shooting of three members of the Miami Showband, a popular Irish group, in 1975.

2. the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 1974, which killed 33 people.

3. the murder of a taxi driver, an eight-year-old girl, various men walking alone in Catholic areas and a Catholic woman in a bomb blast at public toilets in Lurgan.

Murder gangs 'run by British military intelligence...

In the book 'The Committee - Political Assassination In Northern Ireland', Sean McPhilemy wrote:

"In 1991, I obtained evidence that the Royal Ulster Constabulary [RUC], the British Government's police force in Northern Ireland, was secretly running 'death squads.'

"Senior RUC officers were helping a then unknown terrorist organisation -- 'the Committee' - to assassinate Republicans, Nationalists and innocent Catholics in an effort to block any moves towards a united Ireland.

"These revelations were contained in a documentary, shown on British television, in which an anonymous member of this Committee testified publicly about the murder conspiracy. He admitted that his Committee, which was composed of fifty to sixty people drawn exclusively from the Ulster Protestant community, was using two professional assassins, known as 'The Jackal' and 'King Rat,' to kill those deemed to be 'enemies of Ulster.' The two assassins, he said, were routinely guided to their targets by the police. And that, he boasted, was the reason why these murders would forever remain officially 'unsolved."'
