China is leaching and robbing us of our work and ideas for years now. This all started back when Clinton was president. Now look at whats going, their are the second strongest economy, they have stealth weapons once they are fully prepared they can easily walk into the usa and say this is ours and we wont be able to say or do much cause we owe them our asses. Sucks to see this all unravel and believe that it is unraveling. We will eventually be dominated and it will happen during my lifetime. Just hope that their is no bloodshed or war when it happens.Anyone who thinks the US needs to be able to militarily respond to China doesn't understand economics.
China owns over a trillion dollars of US Treasury Bills (the bonds that comprise most of the "national debt"). If China stops buying T-bills, our borrowing costs shoot up, and the value of the dollar drops. If China sells T-bills on the global market at fire sale prices, the US dollar becomes toilet paper.
If you panic about a Chinese plane, and demand that we spend more on our military, we will have to borrow money from China to pay for the military spending. Does that improve our national security?I love it. Everytime I read an article about China's advancements the US response is always one of shock and amazement that they have come so far so fast. The Chinese government is smaller and able to make decisions and get things done. The US government is large and bloated. They talk forever on issues and delays decisions. So we have a nation of doers versus a nation of talkers. Sad.
