Everybody hear repeats Greece is a socialist country. This is like saying that in the USA people walk in the street in couw-boy hats riding horses....in reality the Republicans bankrupt the country copycating American side-economics. Actually Goldman Sachs mentored the Greek fat cats how to use all the Wall Street tricks. And when they went down the hill, they gave the key to the incubent government and said "ciao, clean up my mess please" in a similar fashion as Republicans walked out in 2008. The diofference is that now that unliek here in the US, the Greek government investigate and prosecute taxes and fines the fat cats who caused the trouble, or at least it tries. People post thoughts without even knowing basics about other countries. I doubt if most of the people here know where Greece is.I am surprised how clueless people make comments on a country and its people without even knowing what happens. Like monkeys that learned the word socialist from FOX and Beck repeating it and have no idea of world affairs. Greece is in mess but it fixes its problems while in the US we lose our jobs, Fed prints money and we listen to politican cheerleaders. In reality Greece went down by the same ultra-capitalist fat cats and republican side-economics currupt politicians who copied the American model and sent the US in the tailspin. TRhe difference is that the fat cats in Greece now pay fines, go to jail and pay back their illicit billions while here in the US the Wall Street thugs and the CEO's who bankrupt the economy have become even wealthier.At least in Greece there is public healthcare and free very high standards education. education. How about in the US?
