See how the Thai government is trying to claim the lands that aren't theirs. Trying to expand their lands. All of those wars ain't like its 100 or 1000 years ago. It is recent and in the late 20th century.no they don't, thailand is not currently disputing its border with myanmar, laos, or malaysia..so what exactly are these 'problems' your refering to? every country in the world has issues with it's neighbors but trying to make thailand out to be this regional beligerent like israel is in the ME is totally inaccurate.. Thailand is fighting an insurgency in 3 provinces in the malay south but be clear that malaysia has no claims to these provinces and does not want them, they have mad it clear for decades that they do not want the south of thailand (because the poverty there will ruin their economic progress.
