Guess that's why we are in Afganistan, because the U.S. Navy found alot of areas that could be mined for rare earth.While we go to war for oil China was busy securing all the of the Earth's rare resources. Smart very smart.Don't be shocked. The chinese government treats the rest of the world like it treats its own citizens. If you do not like the chinese economic model - substandard or non-existent labor and environmental standards; economic espionage, illegal technology transfer and pirating of goods - then why oh why do you buy made in china. And it's not as if the rest of the world does nto have investment opprtunities either. There are so many places on Earth where one would welcome much needed investment, but do not have us in their sightlines like china does. Think.
