During the Cold War, the U.S. and Russia were like two cars driving side-by-side down the highway with their windows rolled down, each driver armed with a grenade in case the other guy tossed his grenade in first. Now, we're both riding in the SAME car, but still threatening each other with our grenades, while a school bus full of radical muslims is pulling up alongside us.

I'm not pollyanna. I think there will always be war. But maintaining a nuclear rivalry with Russia is just plain stupid - and a waste of the money that we borrow from the Chinese to keep our nation from going bankrupt.
