We will continue down our unsuccessful path and become more reliant on a more complicated government system and all their agencies. There will be no peace in the world. The age old attempt to demonstrate bravado means continued destruction, strife, mutilation and rape. The power hungry will seek more power at any cost, and the level to which these authorities will crouch to seems as low and bottomless as Hell itself.

Industry has won. The planet will be increasingly stained and poisoned and we will continue to complain but cope. We will complain about our ailments, and cope with our weakened immune systems with more drugs and microwavable food flavored substitutes. We ignorantly wave good bye to the interconnected web of flora and fauna and accept the increasing allergies, weakness and mental health challenges of our newborns.

I would love to think something like WikiLeaks might be a catalyst for change, but I wear my pessimism proudly. Sadly, we are not likely to have the salacious delight to sit back and enjoy the final scene where the Americans implode before our eyes. Their demise is not their finality, but more of a transformation. As with everything we have read in the wiki cables, the banks and Wall St. debacle, and all the military action, the deals and decisions have been in secret and will continue in this manner. In a hundred years or so, the children will not read about any of this in their highly manipulated and censored history text books, and their country will still be functioning in a mutated form, and it will all be business as usual.

But when Pandora removed the lid, and all the horrors, disease, war and suffering were released into the world, there was still one thing left at the very bottom of the box. Hope."
