I wonder if the Brits were ever this worried when they were the world's mightiest navy and the U.S started to rise.
Will China be as peaceful as they say they will? Only God knows, we can only hope so. Historically however, China has only been known to be at war with itself and aside from the Mongol outreach, China hasn't invaded any other country just because it could.You can count on communist and dictators, because they are hardheads. They say what they mean, and they will never change their mind. On the other hand, you can't trust a democratic governments. Today Republican running the show they seem to act like that, but tomorrow the new guy taking the office, they will say differently. Yesterday they supported Taliban to fight Russia, and today they called Taliban a terrorist group. Yesterday they fight Vietnamese and today they called vietnamese "friend". You don't have to believe what i just said, but look at history, and all things going on right now in the world.
