The Military doesn't ARREST combatants it takes them prisoner. The first trial went well didn't it . " 200 charges and conviction on 1, Who are the lawyers who clamor to defend these people? Could Wikileaks post their addresses and names?Kudos to Obama for at least trying to do the right thing. As Americans, it is our DUTY to give everyone, regardless of race, religion, or crime, a fair trial. You all should be ashamed for wishing to deny anyone the right to that.It's easy to criticize Obama, but the problem is the inmates at Guantanamo were tortured by Bush. Gitmo is a huge recruiting tool for Al Queada. When villagers ask why they should hate the americans, they get told about gitmo. It's an embarrassment to a country that considers itself civilized. There is no easy way to close it. We can't try people we tortured. We can't let people go because we tortured them. We can't move them to american soil and no other country will take them. It's Obama's problem now. I wish him luck.Thanks to Bush torturing these people....evidence that could be used is not allowed! I say we release them....what town do you live in David? Well send them to you, personally! FYI, Bush had no right to detain these people indefinitely... now our Nation is left holding a bag of crap! Thanks, W!
