Please, please, the rape of the American economy started with Reagan through the Bushes with only Clinton's presidency any sense of rational economic policy. Who cares about rebuilding Iraq while New Orleans still needs a hospital and our schools are failing from a lack of money?
Charity begins at home, lets care for our own before worrying about the rest of the world.There was a menorah in our city hall during the christmas season as a favor to a jewish group, but no christian emblems or symbols were there .I imagine having a manger scene would not have been very PC. Our city is in Illinois and overwhelmingly christian. As far as I know no christians complained. Now jews are complaining about that cross which has been there for so long. I'm glad that they are not the majority religion in this country if that is the lack of tolerance that they show.
