I see that the American Military’s propaganda machine did definitely NOT end with the Vietnam War – or even the First Gulf War!
[The Libyans greeted the pilot who had just bombed them] “ and brought him a doctor as well as water and juice ..." Really?!?
[A Libyan farmer] “was hit in the blast and received shrapnel wounds [… but] said he didn't hold a grudge against the Americans." Really?!?
[The Libyans] “thank the forces of the coalition, the United States and France." Really?!?
I suppose that adding flower garlands and a ticker-tape would have made the propaganda just a little too obvious!
P.S.: No, I am NOT a fan of Mr. Gaddafi or any other dictator.
