The military does not have to have commands in every little country in the world. The military are just like the politicians; they just keep trying to stay big with lots of slots for generals and admirals. Lets make 'em start cutting back, and save our tax dollars.from Mr Obama:

LOL, yet civilians in afghanistan are being targeted by the USA!libya one america zero problems with the plane bullshit they shot it downI hope this wasn't a maintenance issue. Being in the Marines throughout the 90's during massive military cuts, our unit had 1/3 of it's HMMMV's down at any given moment. We allocated parts from non working HMMMV's to make working HMMMV's.

Maintenance aside lets get out. As others have said better than me, the new regime will just hate us later as all Arab nations do. Between Iraq, Afghanistan and now Libya, we are spread too thin on our defenses. We are very vulnerable to attack stateside. If this were to happen, our forces returning home to fight would be sitting ducks on and over our seas. I'm now concerned for another reason because seeing Egypt is next door to Libya, we might just decide to occupy there too.
