The most likely answer is that the Arab league, like most of the U.S. public, had no idea what implementing a no-fly zone would entail. I would have thought it was obvious that a bombing campaign would be necissary, and that civilian casualties on the ground would be a part of it. You can't enforce a no fly zone if your aircraft can be targeted by anti-aircraft missles or gunfire, so they would have to be taken out in order to establish the zone.Foreign countries should respect sovereignity of LIBYA. They should not be involved in war except for humanitarian support. Let the LIBYAN people solve their own problems. They started this problem, then they should finish it by their own strategies. If there are countries that should be involved on this, they are the following: Middleast countries, as they have somewhat similar culture and traditions. US, France, Great Britain, Italy, and other idiot countries who are trying to put themselves into a situation just for oil interest. See, they are not much giving attention in Israel-Palestine conflict because nothing they can get benefits of it because no OIL is there.
