This is just going to drag on and on and on.
There isn't even a truly concerted opposition to lend support to in Libya. Just a plethora of disparate interests drawn loosely together by a common hatred for Ghaddafi.
The only reason that the Arab League is lending MORAL support and not physical support is that virtually all Arab countries are themselves dictatorships. They perceive Ghaddafi as a maverick, but they won't send troops because they need them in their own countries to keep the masses subdued there. And the US and Britain and very surprizingly, the French, who usually find some really good excuse not to get physically involved, are doing their (Arabs) dirty work for them. For God knows what valid reason.

And don't think that the Arabs won't completely change their mind as soon as this military adventure starts to get dirty, providing yet more muslims with yet more reasons to support jihad against the US and the UK.
