Did everyone forget that Osama Bin Laden was a rebel armed by the USA to topple a regime we didn't like? Did everyone forget that the Taliban turned out to be worse than Russian rule?Republican wars are bad, but Democrat wars are good. Where are all the peace demonstrators?For years we hear nothing about Quddafi form our press. Now Quddafi is once again evil and oppressive. Suddenly the whole world says Quddafi is a bad bad man and must be taken out of power for the benefit of his people. (And there does not seem to be a limit on how many people the UN will kill to protect the lives of the Libyans. What? ) I hate to say it but our news media is bias. I would love to hear both sides of a story for once, If Quddafi was such a bad man and has alwyas been such a bad man then why have the world powers have we done nothing until now? Something about this picture just does not add up.
If there was an uprising in any country we liked, it would be a revolt. And we would approve of the leadership in the country "restoring order".
