Hate Hoaxes
Hurt Jewish Credibility
Jewish Students Were Arrested
For This

Posted on November 7th, 2007.
I’ve been trawling through the wasteland of the media on the internet
and seen many an article about discrimination crimes (aka hate crimes) and
many examples have revealed incidents that were not true. I say again,
some people actually fake that they were abused or had property destroyed
or damaged and blame someone else who is different. That is the alleged
basis for the crime, that the perpetrator is different to the victim and
that’s believed to be why the crime occurs.
Anyway, I’m generalising, but many of the fake cases involve jealous or
bitter relationships, insurance jobs or happen as a way of getting someone
out of trouble - by blaming some other poor bugger. Think I’m full of
crap? I’ll let the articles speak for themselves…

French Jews stunned by claims that rabbi faked
own stabbing
The French Jewish community is in an uproar over allegations that
Reform Rabbi Gabriel Farhi, who was stabbed on January 3, may in
fact have faked the stabbing.
The allegations surfaced in a report this week by the weekly
magazine Marianne, which was then picked up by Le
Figaro. The journal reported that police officers investigating
the stabbing said it is not clear whether Farhi was actually stabbed
by an unknown assailant, and they are not ruling out the possibility
that Farhi in fact stabbed himself.

Calif. Professor Charged with Hate Crime Hoax
Professor Accused Of Faking Hate Crime To
Undergo Mental Evaluation
Note: info is from both articles
LOS ANGELES - A Southern California college professor who
received wide media attention when she claimed that racists had
vandalized and defaced her car with ethnic slurs was charged on
Monday with filing a false police report and insurance fraud.
Kerri Dunn, a professor of psychology at Claremont McKenna
College, east of Los Angeles, portrayed herself as a victim of
racists angered by her message of tolerance at a campus forum when
she reported the vandalism on March 9. She then put in a claim with
her auto insurer for damages to her car.
|
|
Her story drew media attention and prompted hundreds of students
to rally in her name, joined by civil rights activists. But police
and FBI agents who investigated the incident began suspecting Dunn
of a hoax after witnesses came forward to say they had spotted the
39-year-old professor vandalizing her own car.
LOS ANGELES — A judge delayed sentencing for
Kerry Dunn, the Claremont McKenna College professor accused of
faking her own hate crime.Dunn will be sent to the Department of
Corrections for an evaluation of her mental state. It was
rescheduled for the Dec, 15.
Last March, Dunn said that someone spray painted her car with
racial slurs, but there were others who testified they saw Dunn
vandalizing her own car. She was convicted of attempted insurance
fraud, and filing a false police report. She faces up to 3½ years in
prison.

Cries of ‘anti-Semitism’ vanish after suspect
identified
By mid-afternoon, the elite “Hate Crime” Task Force had made
their arrest. Olga Abramovich, 49, of Brooklyn, was charged with
criminal mischief and “related crimes,” police said. The woman
admitted targeting about 20 sites because she was angry at her
former husband, a Jew, for dumping her and marrying a younger woman.
Since the arrest, the media has dropped all mention of “hate” and
“anti-Semitism.” The candlelight vigils have been canceled. The ADL
will not be issuing a press release.

”The facts certainly did not happen the way Mr. Downey said they
happened,” said the spokesman, Ron Wilson. ”We cannot substantiate any
of his claims.”

Judge’s son gets
probation for drug possession, other felonies
Schwartz has been jailed since a May
court hearing arising from a 2003 complaint that he himself made to
police and others about Enzo Lieghio, a neighboring landowner with
whom Schwartz had a simmering dispute regarding property where
Schwartz’s company was building in Clinton Township.
A building facade on that construction site had been
spray-painted with swastikas and the words “dumb Jew,” in reference
to Schwartz’s own heritage. But court officials now believe Schwartz
painted the anti-Semitic markings himself in an effort to falsely
incriminate Lieghio.

Ex-Employee Held in Arson First Linked to
Neo-Nazis
PARIS, Aug. 30 - The police arrested a Jewish former employee on
Monday in connection with a recent arson attack on a Jewish
community center here, suggesting that the attack was not a neo-Nazi
act as originally assumed. If the 52-year-old man, who was not
identified, is found guilty of setting fire to the center, it would
be the third case in less than two months in which apparently
anti-Semitic acts turned out to be the work of disturbed individuals
seeking attention, rather than of neo-Nazis or others pursuing an
anti-Semitic agenda.

|
Another interesting thing is that many of the links, especially from
the mainstream media, are dead if you look into other cases. The news
sites could have every other article ever created on them, but when it
comes to these cases, sometimes they simply disappear.
