governments, and certain industry; recovered unclaimed German Jewish
property; and funded programs to assist the neediest Jewish victims of

survivors in 75 countries have received compensation payments as a
result of the work of the Claims Conference. Payments to Holocaust
survivors as a result of the work of the Claims Conference have come
to more than $90 billion.
The Claims Conference has allocated approximately $1 billion to
research, document, and educate children about the Shoah.
