LOCKERBIE SCANDAL WORSENS AS JUDGE GOES OFF SICK
You might think that any reasonable person who has studied the Lockerbie bombing case should be able to see that Megrahi, the Libyan, is innocent.
You might think that the Scottish court hearing Megrahi's appeal should have decided by now, early July 2009, that Megrahi is innocent.
A decision on Megrahi, by the Scottish court, was expected by early July 2009.
However, it has now been announced that one of the judges, Lord Wheatley, is 'off sick'.
Op delays Lockerbie appeal
A decision on the appeal will not now be made until the autumn.
Defence QC Maggie Scott expressed "dismay" at the delay.
She said: "There is a very real risk my client will die before this case is adjudicated."
Lord Fraser was the lord advocate (1989-92) who initiated the case against Megrahi (the Libyan convicted in the Lockerbie trial).
On 20 December 2006 Lord Fraser was detained by police after they were called to Dundee Airport following reports of a disturbance on board an aircraft.
Lord Fraser was charged with disorderly conduct.
It was announced on 2 February 2007 that the Crown Office had dropped these charges due to insufficient evidence that an offence had been committed.
Lord Hardie, as Lord Advocate 1997-2000, was due to lead the prosecution team in the Lockerbie trial.
Lord Hardie resigned just before the Lockerbie trial began.
There were rumours that there was a lack of evidence to convict the Libyans.
Dr Hans Kochler, the United Nations observer appointed to oversee the Lockerbie trial, said the Lockerbie trial was "not fair and was not conducted in an objective manner". ( UN Lockerbie trial observer urges independent inquiry into the case )
The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC) examined the Lockerbie case.
Kochler said about the SCCRC: "In giving exoneration to the police, prosecutors, and forensic staff, I think they show their lack of independence.
"No officials to be blamed, simply a Maltese shopkeeper. They also exonerate the original trial and appeal defence team and this also surprises me.
"I have doubts that the Scottish judicial system has learned anything from the Lockerbie trial."

THE SAUDIS AND 9 11; OBAMA HIDES THE TRUTH?
Prince Bandar and Bush
On 29 June 2009, the US Supreme Court decided not to hear a case brought by families of 9/11 victims against Saudi Arabia, four members of the Saudi royal family, a Saudi bank and a charity.
US Supreme Court declines to hear case of 9/11 families
The Obama regime supported the Saudi monarchs, who were accused of financially supporting people involved in the 9-11 2001 attacks.
The family members claim that Saudi princes contributed to charities that funded Al Qaeda (Al CIAda) and the 9/11 'hijackers'.
In 2008, a court in Manhattan ruled that the Saudis were protected under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
The US Justice Department is determined to prevent the release of documents collected by lawyers for the families.
These documents, according to a New York Times report, “provide new evidence of extensive financial support for Al Qaeda and other extremist groups by members of the Saudi royal family.”
The US government has had copies of the documents destroyed and has sought to prevent judges from seeing them.
Nawaf al-Hamzi and Khalid al-Mihdhar were two Saudi nationals who were reportedly aboard planes that crashed on 9/11.
They were known by US intelligence to be members of Al Qaeda at least since 1999.
The two were allowed into the US, and were found accommodation with the help of a Saudi intelligence agent (Omar al-Bayoumi) and, later, an FBI asset (Abdussattar Shaikh).
Reportedly, Al-Bayoumi received financing from Princess Haifa, the wife of the Saudi ambassador to the US, Prince Bandar.
"Between April 1998 and May 2002, some $51-73,000 in checks and cashier's checks were provided by the Saudi Ambassador to the United States and his wife to two families in southern California, who in turn bankrolled at least two of the 9/11 hijackers." (Prince Bandar and 9/11)
It is assumed by many that the top Saudis carry out the wishes of the CIA.
Muslim Brotherhood, reportedly financed by the CIA
Prince Bandar is said to be a friend of Mossad.
"Lebanon's Al-Manar TV station reported ... that Saudi Arabia was the country that provided the intelligence to Mossad, suggesting that Saudi Secretary General of the National Security Council Prince Bandar bin Sultan played a role in the cooperation between the intelligence agencies." - Arab country 'cooperates with Mossad'

Prince Bandar has a 56,000-square-foot mansion in Aspen, Colorado.
The palatial vacation home, called Hala Ranch, is larger than the White House.

Bandar's US Mansion
According to Wikipedia, Bandar helped negotiate the 1985 Al Yamamah deal, a series of massive arms sales by the United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia worth GB£40 billion (US$80 billion), including the sale of more than 100 warplanes.
After the deal was signed, British arms manufacturer British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) allegedly funnelled secret payments of at least GB£1 billion (US$2 billion) into two Saudi embassy accounts in Washington, in yearly instalments of up to GB£120 million (US$240 million) over at least 10 years.
Bandar allegedly took money for personal use out of the accounts, as the purpose of one of the accounts was to pay the operating expenses of the prince's private Airbus A340.
According to investigators, there was "no distinction between the accounts of the embassy, or official government accounts [...], and the accounts of the royal family."
The payments were discovered during a Serious Fraud Office investigation, which was stopped in December 2006 by attorney general Lord Goldsmith.[7] [8]

In 2004, the UK's Serious Fraud Office began an investigation into arms sales to Saudi Arabia.
It was The Guardian which reportedly had discovered massive secret payments were going to Saudi princes, to promote arms deals.
Tony Blair eventually halted the fraud investigation, claiming that this was necessary in order to continue cooperation with Saudi Arabia in intelligence matters.
From The Guardian, 15 February 2008:
"Saudi Arabia's rulers threatened to make it easier for terrorists to attack London unless corruption investigations into their arms deals were halted, according to court documents revealed yesterday."
This looks like a piece of anti-Moslem fearmongering, of the sort that might be enjoyed by MI6?
Prince Bandar, the head of the Saudi national security council, and son of the crown prince, was alleged in court to have threatened that he might not cooperate with the British over security matters.
Prince Bandar is alleged to have received £1bn in secret payments from the arms company BAE.
Anti-corruption campaigners have now begun a legal action to overturn the decision to halt the fraud case. They want the original investigation restarted.
There are certain questions that The Guardian does not ask:
1. Are the Israelis trying to stop UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia?
2. Is the US arms industry trying to halt UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia?
3. If there is a terror attack in London, is it likely that the British Security services or the Saudi security services will know more about it?
4. Was the fraud investigation halted, not because of any fears of terrorism, but because of a wish to continue profitable arms deals?

Alleged child sex slavery in Saudi Arabia
Most Moslems that we have met are friendly, hospitable and even liberal.
However, the leaders of some Moslem countries are allied to the Pentagon and are not necessarily friendly, hospitable and liberal.
It is difficult to tell how much of the following is true.
Reportedly, "a US citizen enslaved and tortured by King Fahd's nephews was told by a guard in their palace prison the last person to inhabit his cell was a 'US girl child whore slave'." - Saudi princes are the high end buyers in the US child sex slave market
Reportedly, "it is quite well known within the international slave trade that Saudi princes are high end buyers." (Cached)
Reportedly, "Prince Faisal built a marble palace on Kirby in the posh River Oaks section of Houston.
"He had procurers go to various areas where young people congregated and bring them back to his palace.
"The prince had a continual party fueled by a stream procured teenagers both male and female.
"It was relatively easy for the procurers as the word got out about the sumptuous surroundings of the prince.
"The prince had the best of foods, drink and drugs available every day for his continual party." (Cached)
Reportedly, "Prince Mohammed bin Fahd, Governor of the Eastern Province has been accused by the Al Saud newsletter of condoning sex slavery within his administered area.
"We have been told Governor Prince Mohammed is an active participant in the child sex rings of the Eastern Province.
"We have been told he has parties for his friends with child sex as the main entertainment. Governor Prince Mohammed likes Hollywood where there are many boys and girls from which to entice into becoming sex slaves in Saudi Arabia under the ruse of film and modeling contracts.
"These sex slaves are allegedly sold and resold until they are used up whereupon they are helicoptered over Rubal Khali and dumped." (Cached)

Are the USA and its allies in Afghanistan because certain Moslems are dangerous?

Newsweek, 11 July 2009, gives us some facts about Moslems.
Dispelling the Myth of Eurabia
1. Muslims, reportedly, make up about 5% of the population of Europe.
2. New controls will likely slow Muslim immigration.
3. The birthrate for Muslim immigrants is likely to continue to decline.
Reportedly, fertility rates among Turkish-born women in the Netherlands fell from 3.2 in 1990 to 1.9 in 2005.
Reportedly, fertility rates among Moroccan-born women in the Netherlands fell from 4.9 in 1990 to 2.9 in 2005.
4. Reportedly, there are no powerful Muslim political movements in Europe.
Divisions separate Sunnis and Shiites.
(Moroccans may disagree with Algerians. Bangladeshis may not be very fond of Pakistanis.)
5. According to a recent Gallup poll, more than 30% of French Muslims accept homosexuality.
Almost 50% of French Muslims believe sex between unmarried people is morally acceptable.

BUT, are Moslems involved in criminal activity?
1. Reportedly, the Syrian 'arms and drugs dealer' Monzer al- Kassar was a business associate of Lt Colonel Oliver North.
Al-Kassar was also 'closely aligned with Rifat Assad, brother of Syrian dictator Hafez Assad'.
Reportedly, in 1988, drugs from the Lebanon were being smuggled through Cyprus and Frankfurt into the United States, using Pan Am flights.
Reportedly, the CIA and Monzer al-Kassar were involved in this drugs smuggling.
Lockerbie
An internal investigation by Pan Am is believed to have found that the bomb planted on Pan Am Flight 103 was put on the plane during a stop-over in Frankfurt, and not in Malta by the Libyan suspects, as alleged by the prosecution in the Lockerbie trial.
The Pan Am report is believed to have concluded that the bomb was not aimed at the killing of Americans in general, but was targeted specifically to kill a small band of DIA operatives that had uncovered a drugs ring run by a "rogue" CIA unit in Lebanon.

2. Former UK cabinet minister Michael Meacher wrote on 22 July 2004:
Omar Sheikh is... the man who, on the instructions of General Mahmoud Ahmed, the then head of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), wired $100,000 before the 9/11 attacks to Mohammed Atta, the lead hijacker.

Why were the USA and UK in Iraq?
China has been granted a license to develop Iraq’s largest known oilfield.
"The three largest Chinese oil companies are already gearing up to bid for 11 other oil and gas field contracts in Iraq that will be auctioned off later this year."

The UK government had told a court that the dead were killed on the battlefield.
But it admits that it has failed to provide enough evidence of this to the court.
"(The government is proposing) an investigation of the murder of Iraqi detainees... and specific allegations by five Iraq nationals of ill-treatment."
It has been alleged that Iraqi civilians were detained following "the battle of Danny Boy" - a clash between British soldiers and Iraqis near the town of Al Majar-al-Kabir, in Maysan Province, on 14 May 2004.
Lawyers for five Iraqis have produced evidence supporting allegations the captives were taken to British base Camp Abu Naji, where they were tortured, murdered, and their bodies mutilated.

On 9 July 2009, China launched its first Indonesia-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia.

Trade between China and Indonesia in the first half of 2008 saw an increase of 34.6% over the same period of 2007.
Export from China to Indonesia were up 38.8%, while China imported USD 7852 million worth of goods, an increase of 30.6%.

In 2006, Indonesia's President Yudhoyono visited Russia and signed a wide raft of bilateral agreements, including big new arms, energy and trade deals.

The USA would not be happy if Indonesia became too close to countries like China, or Russia.
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man is a book written by John Perkins.

Perkins' first job was in Indonesia.
He was to try to persuade the Indonesian government to allow U.S. corporations to build various huge projects.
The U.S. wanted to control Indonesia, in order to ensure American dominance in Southeast Asia.
Perkins wrote (Confessions of an Economic Hit Man - encyclopedia):
"There were two primary objectives of my work.
"First I was to justify huge international loans that would funnel money to Main and other US companies (such as Bechtel, Halliburton, Stone & Webster and Brown & Root) through massive engineering and construction projects.
"Second, I would work to bankrupt the countries that received those loans . . . so they would be for ever beholden to their creditors, and so they would present easy targets when we [the US] needed favours, including military bases, UN votes or access to oil and other natural resources."
And if a government, like that in Indonesia, does not cooperate with the USA, then perhaps some bombs can go off?
The US government might need the help of its agents within the Indonesian military?
