For every dollar the government spends this year (in the budget), they are adding 41 cents to the national debt. They need to cut spending by 1.59 trillion, just to balance the budget, without paying off any debt.

We are paying 500 billion a year on interest, on the debt, mostly from insane military spending.

Every man, woman, and child owns $46,000.00 worth of the national debt. The only ones happy about this, are the unions. Military spending is nothing more then welfare, under another name.It is supposed to be the department of defense, not offense. This spending is insanity. Any job paid for by taxpayers, hurts the economy. It is nothing more than welfare, but ten times more expensive, since the corporation executives become billionaires.
