I like Thai, its culture & tradition are similar to mine. However, I think Thai is bully Cambodia and it's a none sense protecting on this issue. Moreover, the history maps show that Thai has gotten more of lands from its neighbors already after the colony failed. Reports say the fighting started when Thai Soldiers went to the flagsite at the disputed temple and attempted to take down the Cambodian flag. That was the third time in a month they tried to do that. Just because you claim Thais are peaceful and kind- Oh, so the soldiers that did that were peacefully and kindly disrespecting what the World Court declared was Cambodia's property? Shame on Cambodia for firing shots at those peaceful people? Don't take KHMER kindness as weakness. They have been through too much.They took that territory away from the French/Vichy in 1941. Then the Japanese brokered a deal where they could keep it when they moved into the region. The Vichy didn't have much of a choice, as they ended up getting occupied by the Japanese shortly afterwards. This all went down before Pearl Harbor even happened. The Thais only agreed to return it to the French, because they were going to use their veto power to block Thailand's membership to the UN in 1945. This has been a hot spot for 2 centuries now, and will continue to be hundreds of years from now. It's their problem, not ours.
