Same crap happened back in the 80's. Unintended acceleration was found to be more cases of fat-footed syndrome: drivers stepped on gas instead of brakes. The big union supporting government began the conspiracy against Toyota!
U.S. car manufacturers failed to provide the consumers decent vehicles and
clearly foreign car makers did. Ford, Chevy, etc. were beaten out by Toyota,
Nissan, Honda, etc. They had to be hit multiple times in the head with a two
by four to get the picture. Too little too late, Too Bad!

Every single american car I have owned was a piece of crap!
I will buy american when the U.S. car manufacturers get their heads
completely out of the dark place and provide the quality of the major
foreign makers.i wonder why so many japenese, and the third world is buying these so called bad american cars, unions just build, they dont design, thats left up to non union engineers and ceos who cut corners on design issues, be a man and place the blame on greedy corporate @#$%, thats the mentatlilty of the non union college boys in corporate america today, forget the craftsmanship just make wall street and the share holders happy and design what ever makes us rich in the short term so we can get our big bonus for the stock going up, so what if the company dies we ceos get our bonus, if we get fired we will just move somewhere else and do the same thing
