Well, they have a ways to go yet to reach the level of the US's nearly completely controlled Press. Our Press here hasn't been free for so long it's disgusting. We have infotainment at best and propaganda at worst, and very little real, honest news. While most Americans today might have heard of the Israeli bombing of the USS Liberty, I remember when it happened. A few military personnel spoke up about it, and were summarily relieved of duty and the "free Press" said NOTHING for over 20 years.
Our press isn't free, and hasn't been so for quite some time. Anyone that doesn't think that's true just hasn't been paying attention. We are spoon fed what we are to hear and what we are to read.
