Our entire country was founded on the theft of the land of the Natives, who we then stuck on reservations. At least the Tibetan people still exist. Thousands of Native Tribes have disappeared from the Americas since the arrival of Europeans. More recently, we over threw the monarchy of Hawaii, colonized Puerto Rico,Virgin Islands, Guam, killed 7 million in Vietnam, 1million plus in central American and South American wars, over threw the Pres. of Chile installed a dictator, Stole Panama from Columbia, supported the racists regime of South Africa, killed Patrice Lumumba install Mobutu of Zaire & etc,. China ia a mere pussycat next to America and its war against humanity. Lest I forget, the enslavement of Millions of Africans and the murder of Millions more who never made it to America but are buried in the largest cemetery on earth, the ATLANTIC OCEAN.

Replies (2) I'm not anti-America. It's a great country but our government and big business have been terrorizing poorer nations for decades. The Soviets were horrible too and I thank God that I'm not a Chinese national.

I lived in Zaire where the CIA helped the kleptocrat Mobutu gain power of the country. He was anticommunist and therefore had no problem in letting American companies take all they wished as long as he got his cut. American oil companies pumped billions and billions of dollars worth of oil out of Zaire. Mobutu pocketed most of the money and then retired in Europe when the cold war ended and he was no longer needed. All that capital was generated in Zaire and not one decent hospital was built. The country is today a complete wreck.

I do agree that its ridiculous for the United States to harangue China and other countries for "moral abuses" when we have been sticking it to third world people for so long.

I know it's a hard world and many of the abusees would be abusers if they could but I'll never be able to stomach the hypocrisy. You want to exploit the weak? Fine. Just don't say you're doing it because you want to make the world a better place or that you give a @#$% about freedom or humanity.
