As the IRS pumps out more American dollars with no actual value, our currency is de-valued and the amount of sweet crude it can purchase becomes less, in turn raising prices at the pump for us, the average American. It's all artificial. Scare the masses into thinking that the oil supply will run-out soon with no true viable alternative, prevent new drilling within in most of the US and it's coastal waters, prevent new refineries from being built for processing, etc. Limiting the amount of crude on the market keeps the prices artificially high.

We're all slaves to the government, the massive banks and corporations that "own" the government. We need their commodities and will pay what they charge. They own our property (and charge a tax for squatting), keeping us just occuppied enough with brainless entertainment and hero worship (to take our attention away from what is "really" occuring) and the never-ending debt-cycle in aspirations of acheiving the "American Dream" to keep us from revolting.Wonder when people are going to wake up and realize what wall street and big banks are doing to this country??? They are the root cause of our problems folks!!!! First the banks buy and sell oil futures causing these sudden spikes in prices and the make billions off the backs of us the consumers. Its a no loose proposition, you take oil offf the market prices will rise because of lack of supply. They have the media do some bogus reporting and the price goes high, a few days later bogus bad news and the price goes down. Then the process starts all over agian.... It's unbelievable just follow it yourself for a week or two and see for yourself. ( 60 minutes did a show on this a few years back when gas was $4 + a gallon)

The second issue is wall street is forcing all our jobs out of this country, basic econmics folks. Mgmt needs to cut cost to keep the stock prices high, easiest cut to make labor!!! There are people in this counrty who would glady sell this country out for a days profit, and we are just sitting around watching it happen. America is on a path to destruction and we are all to blame, buying cheap goods from China and not taking the time to realize we are falling behind in the world. The ultra rich are controling the globe and we are simply puppet's on the string. I hope that as a society we can figure take our country back before it's to late. We are a country ran by big business, no by the government, and sure as hell not " We the people"
