The FAA is affectionattely referred to as the "Tombstone Agency". They don't do anything until people die. So, I'm not surprised ny this story. Flying is more of a crap shoot than the airlines and government lead the public to believe.

We are told that flying is safer than drivng your car. That's true when you base your analysis on miles traveled. But, a statistical analysis based upon TIME EXPOSED to the RISK, flying is no more safe than driving a car.America wake-up and look around Peak Oil is real our ecomomy was started and predicated on huge amounts of cheap easy to get oil, days of cheap easy to get to oil is over and our population is lot larger now infinative gowth is and finate natural resurces are smacking right into each other, and the only thing the future holds for America is Hunger, Death, and Poverty learn how to grow you own food and take care of your family and trust me $10.00 a gal. is not to far down the road, As OHHH>.... let's keeping "creating" more useless dollars and gas will soon be $4...the peso is looking better ever day.It is not OPEC that sets the price. I was told by an Arab many years ago, that Corporate America, dictates them.
