My son was there as a medic; even he said those people are never going to change. No matter who is in charge, the level of corruption stays the same.
Look at who they installed; Kharzai. He made members of the Taliban promise to be good, and then let them go!!! Afghanistan should not be allowed to exist as a country. Sorry about the innocent people there, but it is true.I served in a war that had plenty of bad press. I was spit on and called a baby killer in the SF airport when I came home. I had a negitive opinion of that war and I still have the same opinion of this war. There has never been a "good" warjust as ignorant as their lying former, illegally installed wanna be leader, the legend in his own mind....gw bushI just finished watching the film Avatar and couldn't help thinking that this film is like a mirror of our invasion of Afghanistan. A brutal, high tech well trained army working almost directly for corporations in the background who want the people's natural resources eventually get beat up by primitive, devoted peasants. it's time to bring our men and women home...no more murders on either side!
