what the hell are we doing there ?what would be worth the money and lives lost, that its so important that we be there? from what I have seen ,nothing but a pile of rocks,also its hard to believe that a bunch of ragtag taliban has held off the greatest military and technology in the world for this long,cut the political correctness and kick some @#$% or come home!Just Great!! Our corrupt & self-serving politicians don't care how much money they spend as long as it not their money. No one job will be added by extending the jobless life rafts. We never do anything to get to the root of the real problems. Get in line for the Third World cruise liner visiting your country soon.I feel if they would stop taking jobs to off shore countries, (just because they can pay people over there a lot less than here) We just might have a chance here in America ! If American's could put there Ipads, cell phones and computers down for a while, and stop buying these goods, we just might get our jobs back. So I blame American's as well. Wake up people.So what did people do during the Great Depression? My grandparents told me people simnply moved to where the owrk is and do what it takes to put food on the table, no matter what the job. It seems people think public assistance is a simple free gravy train ride that can be extended and extended. The problem I see is that the USA, American movie stars, American singers, American CEO's, etc..., seems to give more asistance to other countries than taking care of thier own. I mean look at Oprah, she is like a gazillionaire and yet builds schools in other countries when our own US schools are suffering. It just amazes me. It seems America needs to boycott people like this and stop buying movies, music and anything that gives away money to other countries and not our own.
