The reason the 9/11 site is still a hole is because contrary to Bush's seemingly nationalistic remarks "they will be surprised at how fast we re-build, how fast we shall come up with something better, ... etc", he was more interested in the WAR, the DUMB WAR that with the reconstruction of what had been destroyed.

Bottom line is, whoever blew up the towers did not act for Islam. For those who are too lazy to read for yourselves, here is the evidence that Islam does not teach terrorism.

1) In Chapter 2:191, Allah clearly states that “fight those who have fought you, and please do not transgress because i (Allah) do not like transgressors” – Terrorists do not fight in self defence and they are therefore sinners as opposed to saints in Islam.

2) Chapter 22:39, Allah says “Permission to fight with the unbelievers has been granted only provided they fight you first, and drive you out of your homes for no reason other than the fact that you believe in Allah”. This verse also clearly tells you that Muslims only fight (or have permission to fight in the way of allah – Jihad) strictly and only in self defence. That’s not what terrorists do and they therefore do not fight legitimate jihads.

3) The taking away of one’s own life is strictly prohibited. The Prophet SAW said that if a man dies by stabbing himself, he will be stabbed in his tomb, with the same weapon he used on himself until judgment day. Terrorists take their own lives by blowing themselves up – they are not fighting a holy war – Jihad. Instead, they are sinning.

4) The prophet strictly prohibited the killing of women and children during war. Now, if slaying women and children is not an option at war, what about when those women are merely watching a football match or flying on a plane? Terrorists kill women and children and therefore they go against Islam as opposed to representing it.

I love Islam because it teaches peace and love - its unfortunate people learn about Islam from CNN and from the terrorists NOT from the Quran and Hadith.
