@KMA: Yeah I agree with some of what you were saying, but I do not think the civilians there should be negatively labeled as ambitionless and corrupt just b/c they're govt and country is tainted. Maybe they are scared and hopeless, not ambitionless and illiterate. Would you be brave and speak up if there was killing all around you? Probably not. They probably want it to be over and being quiet in hopes to survive this and keep their family in tact. A little compassion goes a long way everyone is suffering in this dreadful war, except it seems the ones that should be and those are the terrorists. Iraqi and Afghanistan civilians as well as American ones are losing people in this war. It's a sad time.Its ironic that U.S. armed taliban in 1980 and now our own men die from it."

In the 1950's we helped Iran throw out their democratically elected government. Then we helped Iraq fight against the Iranian regime we once supported. Later we spent billions of dollars to help bin Laden and his al Qaeda grow strong. Now we are spending trillions of dollars to try to catch them, kill them. This whole just makes a lot of sense.
