First, a thousand million = 1 billion and a thousand billion = 1 trillion and they can't even budget 1 billion when they said they would save a hundred billion? 35 million is a joke. The interest on the national debt is near 2 billion a day. You think any side of government is going to fix the budget? The finicial system is bankrupt and that is it.If we had a National referendum that also prohibited "outside secret money support" and if we asked the American people if they would rather spend their tax dollars on seniors (we all get old) or on defending South Korea and any number of other countries with no strategic value to middle class Americans what do you think the people would say?

How are we spending the American peoples money is the biggest question that need to be addressed.

Defense spending should be cut to the level of what's necessary to protect the "homeland' and let the rest of the world kill each other if that's their pleasure.

Spending over $750 BILLION dollars each and every year is insane and we still haven't paid for George Bush's two wars.

America is broke and we don't need to be spending money and people fighting other people's wars.
