Even though the dropping dollar, NOT SUPPLY, is the problem.

Nice fooleys the elites got going, huh?

"Energy, food costs drive up inflation; But Saudi Arabia is expected to boost oil production in July" by Globe Wire Services | June 14, 2008

WASHINGTON - Soaring energy costs pushed inflation up in May at the fastest pace in six months. Food costs kept rising, too, and all signs are pointing to more bad news on gasoline, oil, and food in the months ahead....

But relief may be on the way for some energy costs. Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil exporter, is planning to increase its output next month by about a half-million barrels a day, according to analysts and oil traders who have been briefed by Saudi officials....

On Wall Street, stocks ended a turbulent week with a big gain.... The Dow Jones industrial average rose 165.77 points to close at 12,307.35.

Private economists cautioned that there would probably be more bad news on inflation in the months ahead given that this year's oil shock has gone on much longer than expected.

"Businesses that had been patiently waiting for oil prices to fall have run out of patience. We expect more of them to start throwing in the towel and raising prices," said Kenneth Beauchemin, an economist at Global Insight, noting the announcement by Dow Chemical Co. late last month that it was raising prices by up to 20 percent.

But according to a report in The New York Times, if Saudi Arabia increased its oil production, the kingdom would be producing 10 million barrels a day, which, if sustained, would be the kingdom's highest ever.

Oh, I must have missed that report.

Small confession: I rarely go to the New York Times' website anymore, and if I do, I rarely look at the newspaper edition. I used to buy a copy every day (until January 1 2008), and when I stopped that, at least I was visiting the web site everyday. Now I no longer really care what is coming from the New York Times.

And I was a DECADES-LONG reader and purchaser!

NEVER AGAIN!

The move was seen as a sign that the Saudis are becoming increasingly nervous about both the political and economic effect of high oil prices. In recent weeks, soaring fuel costs have incited demonstrations and protests from Italy to Indonesia....

Yeah, where have THOSE PROTEST BEEN in my Zionist AmeriKan War Daily agenda-pushing piece of filth?

Get a sentence on a Saturday, huh?

Wouldn't want to give Americans ideas unless it was for global-warming, gays, immigrants, or some other agenda-pushing item, right, shit press?

While they are reaping record profits, the Saudis are concerned that today's record prices might eventually dampen economic growth and lead to lower oil demand, as is already happening in the United States and other developed countries.

Then WHY hasn't the PRICE COME DOWN, huh?

Law of supply and demand?

Pfffffftttt!!!!

The current prices are also making alternative fuels more viable, threatening the long-term prospects of the oil-based economy.

President Bush visited Saudi Arabia twice this year, pleading with King Abdullah to step up production. While the Saudis resisted the calls then, arguing that the markets were well supplied, they seem to have since concluded that they needed to disrupt the momentum that has been building in commodity markets.
Last week, King Abdullah also took the unprecedented step of arranging on short notice a major gathering of oil producers and consumers to address the causes of the price rally. The meeting will be on June 22 in Jeddah."

Yup, Bush's Saudi buddies coming to our rescue -- and theirs!!

"Saudis Rebuff Bush, Politely, on Pumping More Oil"

".... Mr. Hadley said he had a sense that officials in the kingdom were concerned about sentiment in the United States.

“They are sensitive to the economic health of their customers,” Mr. Hadley said. “And they are also sensitive to, and aware of, I’m sure, about the unhappiness that is generated in the United States among the American people and in the Congress about these high oil prices.”

The White House billed the visit on Friday as a way to celebrate 75 years of United States-Saudi relations, but that relationship, while strong under past presidents, especially Mr. Bush’s father, has grown strained under this president.

You are kidding, right, New York Times?

Mr. Hadley told reporters recently that “the Iraq war was a stress” on the relationship. Jon Alterman, a Mideast expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said Saudi confidence in the United States has been “extremely shaken,” over the war as well as what Saudis perceive as Mr. Bush’s lackluster effort on behalf of the rights of Palestinians.

“They’ll be polite,” Mr. Alterman said, “but they’re not really going to put themselves out to help this president.”

No, they will only work with USrael to further the neo-con agenda in the Middle East -- until we turn on them.

I just recently learned -- not to my surprise -- that the Saudis are with Israel and the U.S. in the region and are working at cross purposes to Arab causes.

When the House of Saud is overthrown, it is going to come crashing down. These guys will be hanging from lampposts!!!

And look at Bush trying to bullshit 'em!

"Bush assures Arabs of commitment to peace deal "
"by Michael Abramowitz, Washington Post | May 18, 2008

SHARM EL-SHEIK, Egypt - President Bush yesterday sought to assure Arabs that he is committed to securing an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal by the end of the year, as he arrived at this Red Sea resort for a quick round of consultations with key allies.

"It breaks my heart to see the vast potential of the Palestinian people really wasted," Bush told reporters after meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. "They're good, smart, capable people that when given a chance will build a thriving homeland. It'll be an opportunity to end the suffering that takes place in the Palestinian territory."

Bush's comments appeared to be an effort to address criticism in the Arab world of his strong words of support for Israel on its 60th anniversary, remarks that newspapers and officials in the region said ignored Palestinian sensitivities. As if to punctuate the point, Bush clasped Abbas's hands at the end of a brief photo opportunity and the two strolled down a stone pathway hand in hand on their way to dinner.

Awwwwwww! Isn't that special?

Abbas voiced confidence in Bush. "We know very well that you, personally, as well as your administration are committed to reach peace before the end of 2008," the Palestinian president said.
Now the Palestinian people know Abass is a cock-sucking whore!! Puh-leeze!!

But it was unclear whether the Palestinians and Israelis are making much progress on the final borders of a Palestinian state and the other issues that divide them.

What is unclear about treading water?

Bush flew here after a breakfast with Saudi King Abdullah in a round of meetings with foreign leaders gathered for a conference of the World Economic Forum. He also conferred with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and was planning to meet with top officials from Iraq, Pakistan, and Jordan.

Bush expressed satisfaction with the modest increase in oil production announced by Saudi Arabia last week and put the onus on the United States to bring down the price of gas by taking such steps as expanding oil exploration and conservation efforts.

So Bush gets a blow job from Abass, performs fellatio on the Saudis, and SHITS in the American peoples' faces!!!!!!!

"We've got to do more at home," he said after meetings with Abdullah on Friday and yesterday morning. "One of the interesting things about American politics is, those who are screaming the loudest for increased production from Saudi Arabia are the very same people who are fighting the fiercest against domestic exploration, against the development of nuclear power and against expanding refining capacity."

While Democrats in Congress are demanding that the Saudis boost production more aggressively, those comments suggested that Bush believes he has done all he can to encourage the Saudis to act. It was the second time Bush has discussed soaring prices with Abdullah in recent months, and the second time the Saudis have told him that they do not intend to ramp up production substantially.

In briefings Friday, the Saudis told Bush that they are already spending billions to expand capacity to meet increased demand from their customers. After the meeting, however, they announced that they had boosted production by 300,000 barrels a day, a move that would bring overall production to roughly 9.4 million barrels a day. The kingdom's production capacity is 11.3 million barrels, and oil analysts described the Saudi gesture as modest at best.

"It's something, but it doesn't solve our problem," Bush said. "Our problem in America gets solved when we aggressively go for domestic exploration. Our problem in America gets solved if we expand our refining capacity, promote nuclear energy and continue our strategy for the advancement of alternative energies, as well as conservation."
Bush blamed Congress for blocking some of these ideas but said he had told the king and Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi "very plainly" that they should be "concerned about the effects of high oil prices on some of the biggest customers in the world. And not only that, of course, high energy prices are going to cause countries like mine to accelerate our move toward alternative energy."

So FUCK the ENVIRONMENT?

I mean, if the fuel prices stayed low, then screw 'global-warming," huh?

No either, THIS GUY is a LYING FRAUD or "global-warming" is a LYING FRAUD or BOTH!!!!!
