Really sad to see those innocent people’s get killed especially the poor villagers staying near the border. The yellow shirt leader Maj Gen Chamlong and PAD must be happy to see that both sides are firing at each other and innocent people’s get killed. I’ve mentioned before that when war breakout only the innocent civilians will suffers and kills. The old people, children’s, ladies and the low ranking soldiers will get kills but not the politicians, the elites, the Bangkokian and the high ranking soldiers. Purely stupid. Hope both sides stop firing now."Comply and respect civilized norms and principles of international law”.

Yeah sure, and the next genocide or humanitarian crisis created in one your countries
(Myanmar, Laos or Cambodia) please do not cross Thailand’s border by the tens of thousands demanding a safe haven, food, medicine and a roof over your head.

Stay home and demand democracy,... and bomb, burn, kill until you get it.

Good luck !The Southeast Asian conflict is to long and complex to cover here. But,

1975 Khmer Rouge take over Cambodia, kills and mass exodus from cities started immediately. Genocide.

1976 Camdodian refugees returning to Cambodia from Thailand were executed by Khmer Rouge.

1977 Cambodia begins attacks across the border in both Thailand and Vietnam.

1978 December, Major Vietnamese offensive into Cambodia begins to stop the Khmer Rouge.

1979 Beginning of flood of Cambodians coming out of Cambodia into Thailand. Most of these are the gentle and kind Khmer Rouge that killed an estimated 2 million, woman, children, teachers, monks, government officials, judges, lawyers and anyone else for no other reason than they were aart of the "elite".

Much more to the history but like everyone else from Southeast Asia they have a Bravo Sierra story.

Ask your friend for dates and name of camp. Do your own research.
