the whole toyota acceleration thing was a hoax. once it was out there the Obama admisistration jumped on the bandwagon in order to pay back thier union cronies ( as if the Obama care waivers weren't enough).
I have owned Fords, Chevrolets, Nissans, VWs. I have owned more Toyotas than any of these others combined and have had less trouble with them.
My cars (all Toyotas) are bought used, paid for in cash, well maintained and reliable: ITS MY WAY OF STICKIN' IT TO THE MANGMAC was the world's largest manufacturer of vehicles, Toyota shot into number one status, GMAC had to borrow billions, (plus do not discharge the possibility that FORD created the speculation), and all of a sudden, "TOYOTAS ARE DANGEROUS, LIFE THREATENING, KILLERS(give me a break), what a phony @#$% JEWISH world we live in!!! JUST LIKE POLITICSI'm still wondering why the toyotas built and imported from Japan never had problems. Just the ones made here in the US.Perhaps the report should have mentioned real estate agents
in California, who pressed repeatedly on the gas, did not press
the brake pedal and refused to follow the instructions of Highway
Patrol officers to turn off the ignition or shift into neutral.

Kinda hard to believe the story of a lexus zooming to 100 mph.
They install brakes in cars AND the last time I checked, you
can race the engine all you want with your foot on the gas, and
the brakes will keep it from moving....

Also wonder how many of these crashes involved coffee, putting
on makeup, chatting on the cell phone, texting, and changing
radio stations or CD's, which usually take the drivers attention
away from DRIVING. (You know who you are ).

Hopefully this report will cast doubt on all the 'opportunists' and
their Lawyers trying to make a killing off Toyota.
