"each Arab uprising was unique" is newspeak for "we have no idea what the hell we are doing in Libya, and even though the President said, 'Gadhifi must go,' we are not sure he meant it, and we are not sure who the rebels are (Muslim Brotherhood or al-Quaeda?), are not sure of who is running the war, are not sure of our exit stategy, and are looking for something better than "protecting civilians" to justify starting a protracted war in another Muslim country."

Replies (1) Maybe the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda have merged under the leadership of Yousef al-Qaradawi. Maybe the King of Saudi Arabia is running the war and Syria is uncomfortably close and Libya is a safe distance away. Ghadaffi (no one knows how to spell that) has been cooperating, and this is his reward for cooperating. I will try to remember that in my dealings with the Federal Government.Do you know Syria has one of the worlds oldest Christian sites and a large Christian population?

Sometimes ignorance is your worst enemy.
