Its precisely because of the misguided war in Afghanistan and the downright criminal war in Iraq that the US is in no position today to do the right thing in libya!I think it would be in the best interest of the world for the US to use the foreign aid ($1 million a day) to Israel as a tool to get these old guard politicians to see that we all need to stop the violations of treaties that both groups signed 40 years ago. "You want to build settlements, go ahead on your own dime. You want to buy big bombs from the US military suppliers? Sorry not this time. You want to invade Iran for attempting to build nuclear power plants? Let us know how that works for you by yourselves." We'll keep track on CNN.First I have no problem giving the south back to Mexico esp. texas... I think that we should just come out and thumb our nose at them and announce that if they are attacked don't expect us to defend them and if they invade Iran they are alone. Tell them we have no interest in invading Iran, why should we worry about a country that has a nuke?Amazing - the greatest welfare state on the planet (they literally live off of the money we give them year after year) dares to thumb its nose at us!!
Why do we put up with this stuff? I guess as long as we have politicians like Lieberman (who probably thinks he is an Israeli first, before American) they will behave in this arrogant fashion!!
It is time for Democrats and Republicans alike to unite and codemmn this insulting Israeli behavior.
