What's the crusade about
Both Churches are taking a harsh view on the ongoing occupation and
genocide in Israel and are speaking openly about it from the pulpit.
There is even talk about confronting Israel on white slavery and drugs.
Churches are considering divesting their pension funds of Israeli related investments and
boycotting corporations such as Caterpillar.

Jews are concerned
Jews are frightened this
may lead to domino effect.. Muslim and Christian make up 60% of
world's population. Israel's days of being a rogue nation butchering
civilians may come to an end. US politicians fear if the Catholics join
they must listen.
Delegates visit Israel
After an eight-day visit
to the occupied territories the delegates said it would press leaders of
the Anglicans and Episcopalians ( 75 million members worldwide ) to
impose sanctions on Israel and take a
stand.

The Churches
Presbyterian
The Presbyterians are a small but
highly
influential church.
They have
extremely articulate members who include people with clout in
spheres such as politics and economics. It has 3,000,000 members and
control seven billion dollars worth of financial instruments and pension
funds.
Presbyterians have never concealed their criticism of Israeli policies in
the territories. Their General Assembly Bethlehem delegates recommend -
divesting all investment , boycotting companies such as caterpillar and
possible focus groups to relay Israeli atrocities to the public.
They want
an end to construction of the separation fence and a pullout of the
occupied territories..

Leaders of Episcopalians
Episcopalian Churches have also
discussed the process of divestment.
In the
Anglican Church there are 75 million members worldwide and 2.7
million in the Episcopal Church in this country. They are calling for
Israeli forces to withdraw to the 1967 borders and a “compete halt to
settlement building, both new or expanded, to be followed by a process of
phasing out settlements altogether.”
After a Presbyterian Church convention the Episcopal Church is now
considering economic
sanctions as a cudgel to use against Israel’s settlement policies.
Jewish leaders warn that could open the floodgates to similar actions by
other mainline Christian churches.

Charlatans worried
Pro Israeli poodles worried
As Jews commit one atrocity after another even Pat Robertson and Rev
Falwell are taxed. Their pulpit pounding and sprouting of the demon Arabs
vs. the good Jews is starting to look more ridiculous daily.
Their flocks start to question the Zionists after these
church
bombings.
