One’s Traitor, Other’s Hero

Jonathan Pollard, convicted for stealing tons of US secrets and passing own to Israel – is now serving life sentence since 1986. He committed the highest crime – and had he not been Jewish – he could have been hanged long time ago.
Zionist-regime has made Pollard a national hero – like terrorist Begin. Every Zionist government have negotiated with Washington for the release of Pollard – sometimes on funny reasons:
“Pollard had supposedly given Israel a list of every American spy inside the Soviet Union. On several occasions Soviet agents in New York had posed as Israelis. The CIA reasoned that that was also true in Israel. The Mossad had been infiltrated by one or more Soviet spies. In the trade, this is called a “false flag” operation: Your enemy poses as your ally and steal your secrets. In this case, the CIA reasoned in attempting to explain its horrendous losses, Pollard had passed the information to Israel he had stolen, which in turn fell victim to the “false flag” operation. Soviet agents in Israel posing as Israeli intelligence agents passed this information to Moscow, which then wipped out American human assets in the Soviet Union.”
Famous Canadian war columnist Eric Margolis wrote an article published in The Toronto Sun (January 14, 1999), in which he said:
“Pollard’s defenders claim he, like French Capt. Alfred Dreyfus in 1894, is a victim of anti-Semitism in the military. They maintain Pollard was “only” spying for a friendly country, motivated solely by concern for Israel’s security. These assertions are patently false. Pollard was suspected for some time of spying. Investigation was held off precisely because of fears of raising cries of anti-Semitism. Pollard took large sums of money and jewelry from Israeli agents in payment for spying. With remarkable chutzpah, Israel, which receives up to $5 billion in U.S. aid annually, refuses to return documents stolen by Pollard, or allow U.S. intelligence to debrief Mossad agents who ran Pollard in order to learn the full extent of the disaster. While Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu kept calling for Pollard’s release on “humanitarian” grounds, he refused to free prisoner of conscience Mordechai Vanunu, now serving 18 years in solitary confinement in Israel for telling a British newspaper about Israel’s nuclear arsenal.”
Pollard was awarded Israeli citizenship in 1998; honoured by Bar IIan University on Feb. 2, 2007; he received “Lover of Zion” award on March 22, 2007, and Jerusalem’s “Paris Square” was renamed “Pollard Square” two days before Bush’s first visit to Israel in December 2007.
