The attack on the USS Liberty was NOT a case of so called 'friendly fire.' Friendly fire episodes do NOT continue for four long hours! And episodes of friendly fire do not usually involve multi-strikes from air and sea! Israel was trying to sink the ship and kill the entire crew!
Many of the crew members were sunbathing on the main deck when they were attacked. The US flag was clearly visible, and they never returned fire, mainly because it was a spy ship - not a war ship.
It doesn't make any sense to say that it was an accident. Accidents DON'T continue for four long hours!US Green Berets at "The School of the Americas" trained the torturers (intelligence officers ) that killed 30,000 Argentinians during the bloody Junta ,an US puppet military dictatorship that ruled Argentina 197-1983.
These criminals used to throw away trade unionists alive out of aircrafts , these Unionists were abducted during curfews at home or at their jobs.Thats why whenever I hear an american talking about "democracy " or "nation building " I want to reach to my pistol.
