Our ships ARE involved in the efforts. You are simply not paying attention. One of the issues we do have is one of jurisdiction and what to do with the pirates we capture. I'm sure that you do not want them brought here to the US for trial, then kept on US taxpayer dollars and probably allowed to stay afterwards.
Best is to allow these other nations to bear more of the burden and allow them to deal with the pirates as they desire to do so, free from the level of outrage and accusation that would occur if the United States took the same actions.At least these foreign countries don't mess around,,,The commandos go in and get job done...
USA,,,,,,always fool around ,, procrastinating,,stalling off.. and creating red tape,,so that the @#$% pirates have free play...
If one of our Navy personell kill one pirate,,, they are immediately brought up and prosecuted. USA,,, is ridiculous.... they gather up our brave service people and send them into a KILLER,,world and then LORD help them if they happen to shoot the enemy.... Not fair at all...
