So the judge didn't have enough guts to come to a conclusion.....or was he paid off...hmmmmSo you sign on to be a mercenary soldier, get killed in battle, then your next of kin blame the company you signed up with?

Not a big fan of hired contract soldiers, but your life is the risk you take for the big bucks and the right to kill without impunity. If Blackwater (Xe) has "no rules of engagement", then why should the enemy?

I also think the havoc these "contractors" cause makes the job more difficult for the US military, who are trying to follow appropriate rules of engagement and the Geneva convention. The contractor exemption from Rules of Engagement and impunity also costs us the "political battle" as well, because they "run roughshod over our citizens" to quote an Iraqi source after the massacre of innocent civilians by Blackwater "contractors"; such a situation makes indiginous people hostile to us. For example, there was no "alQaeda in Iraq" till we ousted Saddam Hussein and let military contractors rape and plunder Iraq.

Finally, when those images were first reported they were used as US propaganda regarding how ruethless the enemy was to US Military, but these were not military they were warroirs for hire, Contractors.
