I've been here over three years now to see money go down the toilet with my own eyes.Reading the post, I notied three posters want us out now. I can't blame them for that feeling. I wonder if any of you have considered why we are there? In Vietnam, a country that got hot when I was young the US military did the same thing they are doing in Afghanistan and Iraq. Refuse to arm and train the locasl, make token attempts to give the illusion of training, but never make a full effort. Prop up the elements they think they can control and destroy any elements that will disrupt that control. In Afghanistan, our military to keep the power to itself destroyed the Northern Allaince, the very troops which won the war after 2001. They hate the Taliban, are Muslim, but suffer from a fatal flaw, we can't buy them.
