“To watch the courageous Taliban Afghan freedom fighters battle modern arsenals with simple hand-held weapons is an inspiration to those who love freedom. Their courage teaches us a great lesson-that there are things in this world worth defending. To the Afghan people, I say on behalf of all Americans that we admire your heroism, your devotion to freedom, and your relentless struggle against your oppressors." President Ronald Reagan - March 21, 1983
Replies (2) "Kharzai opens Afghan parliament, taunts the West." There you have it. If you want to go fight for corrupt goat herders, go right ahead. It's terrible to read of our brave soldiers being killed, but no one forced them to go. There is no draft. And there is no victory to be had, either in Iraq or Afghanistan. People who say we're fighting them there, so they don't have to fight them here, please show me where the Taliban navy is hiding their invasion fleet, because the whole thing is a LIE.Suppose in the next few months, a terrorist does blow up a bomb, and kills some more americans? What then? You are still more likely to die in a car crash (26,000 americans died last year) or even by being shot by another american (13,000 murders) than all the terrorist attacks in the last 25 YEARS. This War on Terror is a LIE, to create a trillion dollar jobs program for Defense contractors.
