Yeah, that's why their Euro is suffering from all the debt caused by their social programs. It sure would help the U.S. ( which is already bankrupt) to pile up more debt on top of the trillions already in play. Glad you arenot running things or we would all be standing in line for our daily "free" slice of government bread. How much does England want to sell Canada to the United States?
Then we could go to the capital of Canada, wherever that city is located?
We can't buy Mexico because nobody owns/wants them. Each and every American that considers themselves conservative better pay very close attention to what happens in Great Britian. The Mother Country is going through menopause and it isn't going to be pretty. Left to the whims of the currency speculators the pound is going to suffer. Prices of everything in Great Britian are going to have to fall as in being deflated. Its national "cradle to grave" treatment of its citizens will have to change and the local charities are going to be forced to pick up the slack. Families are going to begin doing something very strange; they are going to take care of their own. People will be forced to become more self-sufficient as they were prior to World War II. The only reason Great Britian went socialist after the war was the fact that its economy was in shambles and the private money wasn't there. Great Britian got almost no help from America to rebuild. All America's efforts went into rebuilding Germany and Japan while its grestest ally struggled. So now they are paying the piper. Americans can learn from the British and if they don't they will end up like Iceland.
