Yeah, Saddam was a dictator and a bad guy, and the Iraqis are better off without him, but that's not really the point, is it? If the U.S. wanted to go in there because he was a bad guy to his people that's one thing, and a separate and completely different discussion than took place at the time than having Powell tell the world there were biological agents and WMDs. If the young men and women of this country are going to lay down their lives in the service of their country then it should be with clear knowledge about why, and the country should agree on the purpose of the action. Hidden agendas and lies in order to get a result is not acceptable.

If this was just about toppling dictators then the U.S. would be involved in a dozen wars at any given time. Egypt and Tunisia have just shown that there are other approaches for removing dictators besides having America send its armies.Hawkish former Defense Secretary, Don Rumsfeld should at least go home for now.. All the lies in his new book are now history..

During his appearance on FOX the other day, he was busy defeding the lies he and Bush/Cheney told the nation that made their case for war. ''Patriots''!
