Absolutely positively NOT! NO! We do not have the capability to fight the worlds battles while the other nations sit by and do nothing (with the possible exception of Britain) We have neither the manpower or the money to engage in another unwinnable war in a place we shouldnt be, with an end result we can not predict. I would not support a US war in Libya if they gave us the oil fields...Lock stock and barrel. It would just end up on the "free market" anyway, which as most of us have noticed by now, is far from "free." The only acceptable scenario for a Libyan war to me would be Libyans landing on our shores for battle. Barring that.....NO way....And I dont buy the "fight them over there so we dont fight them over here @#$% any more." IF we keep out of Libyans, Iranians, Iraqis, and others business, I am fairly confident they will keep out of ours.the article: "The U.S. does not have a moral responsibility to deliver the Libyan people, or anyone else, from the clutches of tyranny. But it is in our interests to do what we can to help them liberate themselves."
Liberate themselves and turn them right over to another - ever worse - Shia stranglehold such is happening in Iraq at this very moment. Carter accomplished the same thing in Iran when he cut off aid to the Shaw and literally greased the skids for the psychopathic Ayatollah to assume a worse despotic position in Iran. We need to stay completely out of this.
