Thus the reason I stopped dropping those little white envelopes in the basket every Sunday because I was tired of hearing about how my weekly donations were being used to pay off lawsuits by men who should have been removed from their positions by people who knew exactly what they had done to children for years. The church has become nothing but a sickbed of scandal, greed and perversion.Let me first say I am a baptized catholic (sic). F%$^ the catholic church. Pope John Paul belongs in hell. He allowed, even promoted pedophilia among his priests. I will NEVER set foot in a catholic church again, NEVER. What a group oh hypocrites. Cardinal Law being transferred to the Vatican from Boston to avoid prosecution, Cardinal Mahoney in Los Angeles claiming "Canon Law" so as to not have to turn over records of abusive priests to the LAPD.
