America is now quite unashamedly the Soviet Union of the twenty-first century, complete with its own gulag, dungeon justice and free interpretation of the law for political/industrial/military ends. The United States stands for nothing anymore but the bloated avarice, expansionist aggression and lying corruption that make all evil empires what they are. Time to send Uncle Sham to the incinerator.....Let me count the ways Obungle has validated GW Bush:

1.Trots out Bill Clintoon to lobby Democrates to extend the Bush era tax rates that lowered the rates Clinton increased.
2.Extended the Patriot Act.
3.Added thousands of troops to Afghanistan as Bush recommended.
4.Continues to keep GITMO open against his own campaign promise.
5.No trials for terrorists in NYC.We either have rule of law or we have it not. We appear to have it not and it's SHAMEFUL. America does not torture, America does not detain indefinitely without due process, America does not assassinate... Except when radical right wing Republicans gut the whole system and make it a shining beacon of white supremacy. This is not the change I voted for. I'd like Howard Dean to consider running in 2012.
