Eric Cantor promised during his 2010 campaign to review constitutional compliance of all legislation moving forward. He just helped push The Patriot Act through again. In my opinion, he broke his promise. The Patriot Act clearly violates the constitution- especially the 4th amendment. Numerous federal judges have upheld citizen lawsuits against the Patriot Act deeming that it does, in fact, violate various aspects of the constitution; all the more reason to leave it expired. Cantor should be released from his elected post effectively immediately for breaking his agreement with americans and flying in the face of the constitution. Please also recall that he is the king of corporate big bank bailouts having championed the first $700+ billion program, another violation of the constitution. It's elected officials like Eric Cantor who are wrecking the USA as we know it.
His behavior is representative of elected officials who grow big government, deficit spend and pass legislation that works directly against the american public. He must be stopped by american voters who keep putting this wreckless fool back into office. When will people wake up and insist that their elected representatives support the constitution, and operate with honesty and integrity?
