"In Iraq," he said, "we were fighting an occupation. Yes, we wanted to those damned Shiites out of the country."This "incident" demonstrates that the West really has no clue what is going on with the anti-government protests in the Middle East and North Africa.

Assuming that the demonstrators/rebels want our "help" might turn out to be a serious policy blunder. It turns out the "diplomats" the SAS were escorting were BP executives.

"Just sign on the dotted line and the British empire will see you as a legitimate government and get these oil wells pumping again."Do you guys remember that incident a while back with the British patrol boat and the entire crew getting kidnapped by the Iranians, even though they were fully armed? Now we have an SAS team get sacked, again, they were fully armed. Wow, I think Britian should just give up the military thing. I mean, if all they are going to do is show up and surrender, then, they might as well not go at all. It's really sad, SAS's reputation will forever be tarnished.
