Obama knows that each time we help "Rebel" forces, they turn the country into a Theocracy . So we end up helping people who harbor Al-Queda. Obama is the smartest president that we ahve had since Clinton.The media has blown this country's civil war out of proportion. Ghadaffi's regime is not attacking civilians. It's attacking rebels who seek to casue havoc for Ghadaffi's regime. You can't blame Ghadaffi for attacking armed terrorists.Why can't the American people realize that this war between the Sunnis and Shiites has been going on for centuries and WILL go on until one or the other is wiped out? After six plus years working as an excpat over there I can't believe how my countrymen/women can be dumber than a box of doorknobs. This war will cook Obama's goose either way he jumps. There is NO WAY America can benefit by any of this. My first day in Saudi the King's troops shot up Quatif and killed many Shiites. It has never stopped. Wait until we leave Iraq! Then you will see a REAL war between the Shiite ruled Iran and the Sunni ruled Iraq while our President, who knows NOTHING about the mid east,dithers. Forget it! If the Enviro terrorists would get off our faces we could drill enough oil to last a century until Hydrogen fuel takes over. And in case you don't know chemistry, water covers 70% of our earth and every drop of it contains HYDROGEN.
